“I went to this school it is absolutely wonderful. I was on the swim team and it helped a lot with the transition. Not many people get made fun of or there aren't that many fights. The teachers do care about you and it all depends on how you act in class. I would recommend this school”

“This school is just like any other high school. The kids that excell get the attention and the kids that are slower get lost in the cracks. The school seems more interested in a child being late or absent than what they are actually learning. Everyone blames it on not having the money or too many kids in the classroom. That might be part of the problem but its that way all over the country. I think the kids are bored to tears in most classes and would rather be anywhere else. It's to bad there aren't video games that teach kids history or math.. they would excell in everything.”

“im a student at taylorsville high and i moved form california and this is my last year off school and this school has helped me in so many ways even some of the teachers i have had i didnt get along with because they would just down talk you but there is more teachers at this school that care because i would have never been on the track of graduating if it wasnt for them thank you”

“My son has been in Taylorsville self contained classroom for four years. The staff, teachers and students have bent over backwards to help my son and the other students feel normal and be treated with respect. Even when my son has had out bursts the staff was willingly to work thru them. I love Taylorsville High because of the commit the school has towards all of its students abled or special needs. Keep up the good work. Also, Mr Pulley & Mrs. Black are the best teachers every and exhibit patience and love for their special students.”

“This school is absolutly wonderful, although I'm the student not the parent I think you should hear from us as well. The teachers really care about us students, and they become more friends that teach us than adults trying to control us. I absolutly love attending this school.”

“I have had two sons attend Taylorsville. While I think that they do fairly well with good students, although perhaps they don't challenge them enough, as soon as my younger son had troubles, they seemed to write him off, and stopped giving him any counselling or assistance. This is unconsciable.”

“My son is in special ed classes. I am glad that he has this opportunity because he's learning more and they keep him up to pace with others so he can join in with the other students. I think Taylorsville is in line with other schools, even better.”
